A FEW NOTES FOR THE ROAD

A little preparation.
More room to enjoy it.

You don’t need to know everything about Ethiopia before you arrive. These are the conversations worth having before the journey begins.

TRAVEL NOTE / 01

Start with your time, not a map.

A short stay can be a good city experience. A longer trip gives you room for road journeys and quieter days. Tell us your arrival and departure plans first; we can help you build a realistic route between them.

TRAVEL NOTE / 02

Say how you like to travel.

Early starts or unhurried mornings? Longer walks or more time exploring a town? These small preferences tell us more than a long list of destinations. Include any mobility or access needs at the start of planning.

TRAVEL NOTE / 03

Leave room between connections.

Arrival formalities, city traffic, and onward journeys all take time. Share flight details with your planner and agree on a pickup point and a way to reach each other before you travel.

TRAVEL NOTE / 04

Ask what is included.

A clear proposal should explain your transport, guiding, overnight arrangements, and any entry fees or meals included. Check payment and cancellation terms before confirming.

TRAVEL NOTE / 05

Pack for your actual route.

Your packing list should follow the places you are visiting and the activities you have planned. Ask about luggage space in your vehicle, walking requirements, and the conditions expected along the route.
